Here's a new law that has come into effect:
Smoking in cars with children banned in England and Wales (BBC)
Car smoking ban comes into force (BBC)
UK smoking ban: smoking in cars with kids illegal from October 1st (Autoexpress)

This new law in England and Wales bans smoking in vehicles where children travel. For me, this new law is very sensible and good for all the people because if the driver smokes while he is driving, he doesn't pay attention to the road and he can cause an accident.
ResponderEliminarI think this law shouldn't be in England or Wales only, it should be in all the countries in the world. Smoking in cars is bad for children who are traveling in the car because it's bad for their health. Children are unconsciously smoking the driver's smoke and this is bad for their lungs.
I think people should smoke only in open spaces and away from children, it's healthier for the children and for the people around them.
