  1. From my point of view, this story is very interesting because at first, the two women did not get on well and the next year, they became great friends. The woman who organised the The New Year’s Eve party only wanted friends and unknown people to come to her party. However, a friend of hers, took her girlfriend to the party and she was an unfriendly and rude person. She thought that this person would spoil her party. With this in mind, they tried to calm her down. Fortunately, the party was a success.

Now, I'm going to answer the questions that Albert asked us. My preparations for this occasion are the same as other years. My mother and me, we make a big dinner with lots of delicious and lots of drinks: alcohol, blackberry liquor, cava...etc and that's all. For that night, I usually wear a suit with my red tie. Yes, I am, I'm looking forward to it because it is a special day, perhaps the most important day of all the year. I'm not meeting anyone special because I will probably have a dinner with my parents and my elder brother. I still don't know what I'm going to do, maybe I'll stay at home with my family but if a friend of mine wants, we'll probably go to a party in Molvízar or in Almuñécar.

Then, I'm going to explain the differences between expect, hope, look forward and wait. To expect is a verb which is used to express what you think will happen because there is some indication that indicates it. To hope is used to express wishes or hopes. "To look forward" conveys the idea of waiting impatiently. "To wait" refers to the action of being in wait for something to happen, is related to time and usually it's followed by "to". The most beautiful words in English for me are life and love, they sound so nice. In my language, which is Spanish, the words that sound better are want, love, father and mother, that is what I think.

In conclusion, I think we should be in The New Year’s Eve with people who we love such as our family and friends. By this way, we will enjoy the night the most.
