Our world is full of paradoxes. A lot of efforts and investments are made to travel in the universe and find planets elsewhere, building glass bridges... while we still have areas in our world where a natural disaster can cause hundreds of victims. It is fantastic to make discoveries, but shouldn't we invest more money to solve ordinary problems on Eath such as: famine, droughts... or earthquakes?

Nowadays, we are living in a world where everything is modern, advanced, technical....Almost all the money is used to build new things and to travel around the universe. But, are the real problems of our lives solved?
ResponderEliminarToday there are a lot of social problems such as famine, droughts, earthquakes....Last 24th August, there was an earthquake in Italy that killed 159 people and that injured 368 people. The earthquake affected several villages, all the buildings were destroyed by the earthquake. I personally think that engineers should worry more about earhquakes rather than investing money to build and discover new things. From my point of view, they should invest money on inventing.
To sum up,as far as I'm concerned today there are many problems such as famine, natural disasters, poverty, droughts....that aren't solved and they are very important because they affect our lives directly.
